Which Israeli documents a Portugal property purchase needs
Most banks in Portugal ask for the same set of Israeli documents — translated into English. Here is what a purchase or mortgage file typically needs, and how it is submitted.
The typical document set
A property purchase or mortgage in Portugal usually calls for the same core documents a lender uses to confirm income and standing:
Three recent payslips
The last three months; some banks ask for six.
Form 106
The year-end summary of salary, tax and contributions — the central income document.
Bank statement, 3–6 months
Current-account transactions with a running balance, to evidence cash flow and balances.
Proof of address
Usually any recent utility bill — electricity, water or gas — or an arnona bill. Banks want the address confirmed, not one specific document.
Confirmations
Employment and account-management letters and similar attestations, where the bank asks for them.
What Portuguese banks accept
Portuguese banks generally accept income documents in English, so in most cases an English translation is what you'll submit — though some banks ask for a Portuguese translation or an apostille.

Common questions
Do the documents need to be in Portuguese?

Does the bank need certified or apostilled translations?
